We recommend waiting until after you have passed the California state licensing exam to get fingerprinted.
You must first complete a Live Scan Service Request form and then schedule your fingerprints with a local Live Scan provider.
The DRE charges a $49 processing fee. However, you will be charged an additional fee by your local Live Scan office.
