The REB uses your criminal history check as a basis to accept or deny your license application.
We recommend waiting until after you have passed the Virginia state licensing exam to get fingerprinted.
You can get fingerprinted at the PSI testing center after you pass the Virginia state licensing exam.
The fingerprinting fee is $52 and it can be paid by credit card, check, or money order.
It may take up to 6 weeks to process your fingerprints and have your criminal record check sent to the Virginia Real Estate Board.
The REB uses your fingerprints to verify that you have fully disclosed all past criminal activity on your license application.
