When Do I get Fingerprinted?

We recommend waiting until after you have passed the Virginia state licensing exam to get fingerprinted.


Where Do I get Fingerprinted?

You can get fingerprinted at the PSI testing center after you pass the Virginia state licensing exam.


How Much Does It Cost?

The fingerprinting fee is $52 and it can be paid by credit card, check, or money order.


When Will My Fingerprints Be Received?

​It may take up to 6 weeks to process your fingerprints and have your criminal record check sent to the Virginia Real Estate Board.


What Will My Fingerprints Be Used For?

The REB uses your fingerprints to verify that you have fully disclosed all past criminal activity on your license application.
