The Minnesota Real Estate Commissioner has the right to deny an application on the grounds of any misleading statements made on the application, engagement in fraudulent practices, failure to comply with state statutes, or if past actions have demonstrated you to be financially irresponsible or untrustworthy.
During the application process, if you answer affirmatively to its questions on prior criminal convictions, criminal charges, withheld or deferred judgment, or administrative actions, you will need to submit a written statement explaining each incident, a copy of the charging document, and a copy of a document that demonstrates the resolution of the charges or final judgment.
