Joshua Levin, an attorney, began working for the Westchester County Human Rights Commission in 2006. After developing his skills in handling claims of discrimination, he had a particular interest in housing discrimination and co-authored the Westchester County Fair Housing Law. He is currently the Director of Fair Housing for the Commission and has been certified by the National Fair Housing Training Academy of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) offices in Washington, D.C.
Joshua Levin is also the Moot Court Director for the Commission’s Donald N. Silverman Moot Court Competition, an annual, county-wide high school competition. Additionally, he is the coordinator of the commission’s Human Rights Awareness for Youth program.
Mr. Levin speaks to the Westchester County community about the county’s Fair Housing Law, eliminating discrimination and developing diversity, acceptance and respect.
Mr. Levin is a graduate of SUNY at Albany and Pace Law School. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the U.S. District Court- Southern District of New York. He is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association, the Westchester Black Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Federal Bar Council.
