Are there any fee waivers available for low income families?

According to Missouri Statute section 324.015 RSMo, effective August 2018, the commission will waive occupational licensing fees – upon request – for two years, beginning with the date the request is approved by the Missouri Real Estate Commission. Low income families who wish to request this waiver must meet the definition of a low-income family provided in the Missouri Statute section 324.015.1(3) RSMo, as follows:

· Any household with an AGI – Adjusted Gross Income – that falls below 130% of the federally defined poverty level. Note this percentage can be revised upwards when deemed necessary by the state authority.

· Any individual who receives federal/state public aid, including Missouri state assistance programs like MO HealthNET or Temporary Assistance for Families, among other types of assistance.
