How can I cancel and reschedule my test after I’ve made an appointment

Before scheduling your exam, you must apply to take the South Carolina Real Estate license exam through the South Carolina Real Estate Commission. Visiting the commission’s online application portal you will be able to make your application, uploading supporting materials, and pay the initial application fee of $25.

PSI administers the South Carolina real estate broker licensing exam at five PSI Test Centers in SC as well as in Charlotte, N.C. Once your eligibility has been electronically forwarded to PSI and you have received approval to schedule the state licensing exam, you can do so by going to the PSI candidate website and following the online prompts after registering for an account. You can schedule your exam by calling PSI Services at 800-733-9267.

If you are licensed in another state, you will need to provide your licensing and education information to the South Carolina Real Estate Commission. You can use the commission’s online application process to upload the required documentation, which includes a Certification of Licensure for each jurisdiction.

PSI has testing centers across the country where you may take the South Carolina real estate exam if you are eligible to do so. You will be able to choose a location convenient to you once you have made an account on the PSI exam website and input your information, including zip code.

You may reschedule your exam by going online at http://www.psiexams.com or by contacting PSI at 800-733-9267. Appointments should be cancelled or rescheduled at least two days prior to the scheduled testing date to avoid forfeiting your exam fee.

If you miss your scheduled appointment or you cancel less than two days prior to your scheduled exam date, you will forfeit your exam fee and need to reschedule your exam. You will need to submit a new registration and pay the exam fee if you need to reapply for a missed exam.

When you schedule your appointment, you will need to provide your name, social security number, phone number, mailing address, the title of the exam, eligibility information, email address, and​ method of payment​.
