How do I renew my Oregon real estate license?

Your Oregon real estate license is good for two years. Your initial license is likely to be good for under two years, as your Oregon broker license expires on the last day of the month your birthday is in.

When it’s time to renew your Oregon real estate broker license, the Agency will email a reminder on the first of the renewal month. Use the state's eLicense portal to renew your license. The cost is $300 for an active license. Any late renewals incur an additional $150 fee.

In your first renewal period, you must complete continuing education from a certified provider in:

  • 3-hour Law and Rule Required Course
  • 27-hour Broker Advanced Practices

After your initial renewal, during each two-year cycle you must take continuing education in:

  • 3-hour Law and Rule Required Course.
  • A minimum of 27 additional hours of continuing education in required topics.
