What happens if I do not renew my HI license on time?
The Hawaii Real Estate Branch requires all renewal applications to be submitted by November 30 of the renewal year. If you submit the application after this date, your application may not be processed and approved by January 1. You may have to stop all real estate licensing activity until you are properly licensed.
If your license is not renewed by January 1, and your license is forfeited, you have one year to submit a restoration memorandum, pay the required fees, penalties, and submit the required documents.
