What is included in the Missouri State licensing exam?

The Missouri State real estate examination includes questions regarding the following topics in the national and state sections:

National Section

The question topics and the number of questions for each topic on the national section of the Missouri real estate exam will include:

· Contracts – 17 questions.

· Real Estate Practice – 13 questions.

· General Principles of Agency – 13 questions.

· Financing – 10 questions.

· Real Estate Math – 10 questions.

· Title Transfers – 8 questions.

· Property Ownership – 8 questions.

· Market Analysis / Valuation – 7 questions.

· Property Disclosures – 6 questions.

· Land Use Controls and Regulation – 5 questions.

· Property Management and Leasing – 3 questions.

State Section

Questions in the Missouri State licensing exam’s state portion will include the following topics:

· Broker Disclosure Forms

· Property Listings and Seller Agency Agreements

· Buyer Representation and Buyer Agreements

· Transaction Brokerage and Dual Agency

· Brokerage relationship terminations

· Compensation and cooperation with other licenses

· Agent obligations to customers and to clients

· Pricing properties

· Real estate financing and estimating closing costs

· Contracts

· Construction

· Avoiding misrepresentation in the practice of real estate
