What is included on the IN state broker licensing exam?

The State Exam is broken into two portions. You will be tested on national and state real estate-related content.

On the national portion, questions will cover:

  • Land use controls and regulations
  • Financing
  • Valuation & market analysis
  • General principles of agency
  • Property disclosures
  • Contracts
  • Leasing and property management
  • Title transfer
  • The practice of real estate.

The state portion will ask about:

  • The Indiana Real Estate Commission
  • Licensing
  • Statutory & Regulatory Requirements
  • Statutes & Rules Governing Licensees
  • Real estate office procedures.
