What is the difference between an active and inactive license in KY?

An active real estate license says that you have met all of the licensing requirements for the state of Kentucky, that you are in good standing, and that you are authorized to assist with the purchase, sale, lease, or management of Real Estate and be paid for your work. An inactive license says that you have met the licensing requirements, but you are not currently authorized to assist with real estate transactions and be paid for your work.
