What tests do I need to take to get my IN real estate license?

You must complete the following steps to earn your IN Broker’s license:
1) Complete a 90-Hour IN Pre-license Broker Course
2) Schedule the IN Broker Pre-license exam
3) Pass the IN pre-license exam
4) Submit a license application with a $60 fee and verifying paperwork

Here are the costs associated with obtaining your Indiana real estate broker license.
90-hour broker pre-license course: $225.
State Exam Fee: $53.
License Application Fee: $60.
Total Cost: $338.
These costs are spread out over the entire licensing process and not paid all upfront.

You can get your IN broker license in approx. 4 weeks.
1) Complete the 90-hour pre-license course online: 2-6 weeks. 2) Schedule and pass the IN state pre-license exam: 1-3 weeks. 3) Apply for your license. The real estate commission does not give an approval time estimate. Track your application progress online.

All applicants are required to take the Indiana Pre-license Broker exam, administered by PSI. If you are not applying by reciprocity, you will also take three tests as part of your required 90-hour Pre-license Broker course.

Indiana does not have an online application for the broker’s license at this time. You will need to mail in a paper application and supporting documents.
