What happens if my NY license is expired for more than two years?

If you fail to renew your license within 2 years after your license expiration date, you will have to retake (and pass) the NY state licensing exam, apply for a new real estate license, and pay the license application fee.
You will also have to submit a copy of your expired license/pocket card, or your Certificate of Completion from when you originally completed the 75-hour NY real estate salespersons course.
