What is included on the New Mexico state broker licensing exam?

The New Mexico Broker State Exam consists of two sections. You will be tested on national and state real estate-related content.

 

On the national portion, questions will cover:

  • Financing
  • Valuation & market analysis
  • General principles of agency
  • Property disclosures
  • Contracts
  • Leasing and property management
  • The practice of real estate

 

The state portion will ask about:

  • The New Mexico Real Estate Commission
  • Licensing Requirements
  • Statutory & Regulatory Requirements
  • Broker Duties, Disclosure, and Relationships
  • New Mexico-specific topics like property taxes, septic systems, and PID disclosures
